Tamil Nadu Technology Development and Promotion Center of CII is organizing an "Awareness session on the Legitimate & Competitive tools for the Industry to Compete & Grow in the Globalized Business scenario, keeping "Information Technology & Intellectual Property Rights" as two of the important tools on 21 June 2013 at IIT Madras Research Park, Taramani, Chennai.

he objective of the program is to disseminate the importance of Information Technology & Intellectual Property Rights, as tools for Industries & exporters to leverage for gaining a competitive edge, by following the global practices and by avoiding unknown and unfair trade practices.

This workshop will cover interesting topics such as,

  • IT and Global competitiveness in manufacturing sector.
  • National and global strategy for competitiveness :Legal Compliance and global competitiveness.
  • Benefit of compliance with legitimate IT tools.
  • Unfair trade practice & Intellectual Property Law: Indian Perspective.

The overreaching approach of the session will be on the use of IT and IPR in manufacturing, as a strategy towards achieving global competitiveness. The sessions will focus on the role and importance of legitimate IT tools & & IPRs, changing Global Practices, efforts by the Government & Industry, Policies & Incentives, legal compliances, Fair Trade practices etc., benefiting all the stake holders of the system.

The speakers shall discuss on the unfair results of the advantage gained by the Industries / manufacturers, by resorting to unauthentic tools & technologies, and suggest optimal ways & means to adopt authenticate IT tools & IPRs, as a strategy to compete and grow in the Global Businesses.

Note: There is no delegate fee. The participation is restricted to 60 members. We accept the nominations on first come first serve basis.
