TNTDPC is governed by an apex Governing council chaired by the Secretary, Technology Development Board, Government of India, and consisting of members from Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu, Industry and CII.
TNTDPC is a catalyst for technology development, technology upgradation and integration of new technologies & innovations in Tamil Nadu. The prime objective of TNTDPC is to provide a helping hand to SMEs & Entrepreneurs by providing a network that will ensure they generate new ideas which helps them achieve cost effective solutions.

The center thrives hard to promote technology by creating more awareness, inculcating the right technical inputs in problem solving areas and providing appropriate training. The center provides support services for technical upgradation & innovation through collaboration with institutions and MoU’s with R&D Labs in India and abroad.
TNTDPC is a prototype of CII for working along with Government of Tamil Nadu and Government of India in an effort to help domestic industries create value, scale, and go global.
