The major task of the Centre is focused towards providing a helping hand to the Small & Medium industries and entrepreneurs in TN to reach and compete in global market place through technology innovation and meeting international standards. The center provides user-friendly environment, linking support and guidance from global experts and TN Government in upgrading the industrial growth of the state.

The Centre uses networks of institutions/agencies in TN, within the country and outside the country if necessary, in order to stimulate and successfully accomplish SMEs technology projects and help them in problem solving.
